"Reflections of Beauty" is a multimedia musical storytelling of the life of ground-breaking entrepreneur, activist, and inventor Madam C.J. Walker.

Based on "On Her Own Ground" the biography written by Madam Walker's great-great granddaughter A'lelia Bundles, the piece is also narrated by A'lelia and features music important to Ms. Walker's journey from an orphan in the deep south to a hardworking washerwoman in St. Louis to a self-made millionaire, philanthropist, and activist.
How to participate
Free and open to the public, this program will be live streamed via Zoom online and in the General Motors Theater of The Wright.

Beginning with a musical performance by Grammy-nominated ensemble PUBLIQuartet, the afternoon continues with an interactive Q&A session with A’lelia Bundles, the great-great granddaughter of Madam CJ Walker.
6 pm - 7 pm EST
The events of the afternoon will be streamed before a live audience in the GMT, and will be available for viewing from home.
