"Knock on wood"

Inspired by the landscape artistry of Roberto Burle Marx, PUBLIQuartet will perform works by Brazilian composer, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla, as well as adaptations of Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, and more. In classic PQ style, drumming, singing, and other extended techniques combine in unexpected ways through group improvisation that distinguish their unique musical voice.
